Option Period Extension Request due 2 Seller's Contract Violation

I am on day 6 of a 7-day option period to purchase a sfr in the Houston area. Our contract explicitly states, " Seller...shall immediately cause existing utilities to be turned on and shall keep the utilities on during the time this contract is in effect" this is Section 7.A. of the TREC promulgated 1-4 family purchase and sale contract.

On the day we executed the contract  (tuesday), I notified the Seller that I scheduled my home inspection for two days later (thursday) at 10AM. Fast forward two days, my inspector and I walk into the home and all utilities are OFF on thursday. The Seller had not yet had them turned. As a result, i had to reschedule my inspection two days later (Saturday). After the inspection on saturday was finally completed, i recognized the need to get estimates on a new roof because of granule loss and missing asphault shingles. I have not been able to get in touch with roofers until today (monday) naturally because we were well into the weekend, i was not able to get a hold of any roofers on sunday either. So, in effect, because of their violation of our contract by not having the utilities on, I lost 3 days. My agent is under the impression that the seller may push back if I ask for a day or two option period extension to receive and review the roofing bids in light of the fact that i lost almost half of my option period as a direct result of their not having the utilities on during my originally scheduled inspection (thursday). Wanted to get BPers' thoughts here, general or specific.
