While doing an LLC is it advisable to be your own registered agent if I am wholesaling now and will eventually buy properties for rent. If not where would I search for one? Can any lawyer do this?

Why have an attorney as registered agent? Their only duty is to accept service of process, etc.  Why pay someone $100 or $200 a year for that? If you can name yourself, do it. Even if you got sued and had an attorney as your registered agent, his only duty would be to give you the bad news. There is no protection that I am aware of having an attorney as a registered agent. Usually, attorneys are absolutely the best at taking your money:) sometimes,,,nothing much more than that!
