SDIRA & LLC

I recently attended a Ron Legrand workshop. During the workshop, Ron talks about how to set up a LLC and SDIRA. A bank account would be opened as well. I have an attorney who will create the Operating Agreement of the LLC. He told me that I'd be the manager of the LLC, which is contrary from what was mentioned in the workshop. I asked my POC at Entrust and he concurred. Am I missing something or is this correct?
