1099 MISC deadlines are accelerated this year
I'm sure you've squared away your 1099-MISC forms already and sent them out to whomever needs to receive them, but in case you like to wait to the last minute, be aware that for 2016 they may need to be filed as soon as Jan 31. I'm no accountant, but that's soon.
