Getting life in order- Tax/Financial Advisors

Due to bouncing around all over the country we have accumulated properties that turned into rentals for one reason or another.  We are currently under contract in North Carolina where we are selling one rental property.  We are renting out a property in New Orleans.  I basically need to find out the contact for a financial adviser with ample real estate experience.  Specifically, I have questions regarding transferring the NOLA rental to a legal entity (is this possible?  If so, how?) and information about 1031 exchange requirements with the capital gains from the N.C. sale.  I would love to see any recommendations!

@Melissa Hayes   Through my Charleston, SC RE lawyer, I have been recommended to Richard Higgins in Columbia, SC.  I have spoken to Mr Higgins and he has advised me on 1031 issues with my Georgia property.  Mr. Higgins, is a RE lawyer, a tax lawyer and a QI for 1031 services.

He should be able provide advise and help in your 1031.
