Transferring properties to LLC

This is my first post to BiggerPockets. Just seeking advice on transferring my two rental properties from my personal name to my LLC. Is this something I can do on my own, Or should I have an attorney involved. I just hate to waste $750 if it's a matter of simply filing paperwork with City Hall. Any help would be highly appreciated.
