Seeking REIs Familiar with Rochester, NY

I'm looking to buy my first multifamily in Rochester, NY. I'm an out-of-state buyer and am wondering if there's anything unique to this market that I might be unaware of (eg. special certifications, etc).

Hi Mike Rugh rochester is a great market to invest. I manage several properties for investors out of CA. They have been extremely happy with the ROI and they continue to buy more. Rochester market is very strong and the rental demand is high. Majority of the city will require a C of O by the city. It can be challenging At time dealing with the city but not impossible.
