Looking to set up an LLC with a partner for multi-unit rentals in Rochester, NY. Any recommendation for lawyer in area to help us get set up, and / or advice on things we should consider? Thanks.

You don't need a lawyer to set up an LLC.

Just go and make one on Incorp.com
