Structuring a syndication from soup to nuts.

Hey BP community! I'm looking to start a family office and wanted to see if anyone knew how to structure a syndication for multifamily investing using my LLC in IL. Can I use it in Florida investing or do I need to open a new one in FL? What are the SEC requirements, documents required for each deal?

@Mark Solomon You'll want to hire a securities attorney to help you get started. You'll need one to draw up the paperwork so may as well develop the relationship sooner rather than later.

Side question: If you are starting a family office, why go through the work of syndicating a deal, when you could invest in an established operator's offering?
