Contract Reviewing with Online Attorney?

Question

Does anyone know of/use an attorney-based website that will review contracts for misc. investment property contracts?

OR

Does anyone know of/use an attorney-on-call website? Like a monthly fee and you have access to an RE attorney?

I understand this website essentially offers some of that, but I'm wondering for more on-hand things such as tort, usury, etc. cases.

@Aaron Moayed - Sometimes the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true and I think working with attorneys (and CPAs) is one of them. I'd recommend finding a local attorney and establishing a good relationship. You'll be surprised how much theyll help without much cost once you have built a good relationship. Plus, they will always have your best interest at heart because they know you are coming back, which is not quite the same with an online attorney.

Also, if you need help reviewing your contracts consider asking your agent. They work with those contracts every day.

@Aaron Moayed Attorneys are also licensed on a state-by-state basis. I’m an attorney in Texas with a title company, but don’t have a clue on the nuances of say, Florida real estate transactions.

You’re better off finding an attorney that’s local to the deal you’re analyzing.

There are a few websites like upcounsel and alternative legal service providers. I provide flat monthly fee services for some of my clients, it really depends on your needs. Ultimately, I'm happy to refer these cases because 9/10 times you'll have to come back and speak to an experienced attorney who actually practices law in that state.

About 85% of my practice is remote.  The parts that really require face-to-face interaction are:

• Technology-challenged clients.
• When *I* need to verify identity or competency of parties I'm dealing with.
• Certain parts of litigation.
• If a client simply must see my face.

Most drafting and doc review, I do this remotely through email, scanning, shared folders and docs on my practice management system, telephone, and web-meetings.

Texas is larger than most European countries.  We adapt.
