Contractor not responding, need attorney

Hi,

I am in middle of a project and my general contractor is not responding after taking good amount of advance and just replied my text that his partner is sick and not able to work on my project.

I am stuck and need some experience attorney info who has dealt similar cases.

I hate contractors.
They can put a lien on your house/building/project here in Texas, if you don't pay them right up to the minute, but the minute they get $20 ahead, they are gone and on to their next job.
