Bookkeeping and Receipts

Hello,

Working on our first deal and doing the reno mostly ourselves.  The house is in the next state over.  Currently using excel for bookkeeping and I am in the process of finding a CPA to work with.  I am having a bit of trouble with keeping track of receipts.  Currently put them all in a folder after I logged the expense on excel.

What's a better way to keep track of receipts? Any apps? If so, which?

Thanks in advance!

@Abigail Nalbandian there are a lot of apps that you could you. You could use hubdoc, receipt bank, expensify, or expensepoint. These are just some of the apps. There are plenty more out there.
