Earning interest on security deposits in California
I'm curious if anyone has found a good vehicle to earn interest on security deposits? Specifically deposits held by the owner of rental property in California, where it is not required to pay interest to the tenant. This is generally a sizable amount of money that is just sitting there. It would need to be liquid enough to cover periodic move outs.
