Ask other investors and do your own research. Setup calls with 2, maybe 3 tops. Speak to them. See what they can offer besides just tax preparation. Hire who you feel is best equipped to advise you on tax efficiencies. Many talented folks on here. Yes, many of us work and represent clients nationally and internationally.
