Looking for a great CPA specializing in real estate

Hello compadres!

I’ve been frustrated by the revolving door of accountants and CPAs I’ve used over the years. I don’t seem to get the planning, and strategizing I’m looking for specific to my needs, which I was under the assumption every professional provides.

I’m looking for a great CPA who specializes in real estate. I’m a full time real estate agent based in NYC but also own some out of town rental properties. I’m looking for someone who can make sure my books are organized (have a bookkeeper), is easy to communicate with (tech savvy at a minimum), and can provide me with helpful strategies for each calendar year. Am I asking for too much?

Longingly waiting,

- Micky

@Mukul Lalchandani

There are a number of CPAs on these forums working with investors. Many of us work with clients remotely so locality is not an issue. My recommendation is schedule calls with 2 or 3 and ask the questions that are most pressing to you. Hire you think will best look after your interests. Good luck.
