Virginia Quit Claim Deed

Account Closed
Posted

Hi all,

I have a family member who is trying to give me property. The property is located in Virginia. Given that there will be no exchange of cash or any other considerations, I believe I will need a quit claim deed to transfer the property (feel free to correct me if I am wrong). Does anyone have a good quit claim deed for Virginia that they wouldn’t mind sending me? I appreciate everyone’s help!

You can use a General Warranty Deed, it doesn’t matter if there is no actual money exchanged.  In any case, get title insurance, period.
