New in the STR game looking for properties in FLL/ Crystal River FL

Hi all,

This post is to introduce myself and get involved with the BP community.

I live in Chicago for the moment but plan to move to FL I'm new in real estate and would like to connect with other investors/agents and lenders in the area. I know the STR market is getting hit hard at the moment but I see this as an opportunity to get in the market and if I can make it how it is right now I know I'll be successful.

Is there a reason you specifically want to look in Crystal River? I assume it's because that is the city you are moving to? I have family up in that area (Pine Ridge) and I know the population isn't a big number. You may want to also look out into some surrounding areas as well. Ocala, Tampa, even Gainsville area where the University of Florida is located. Good luck!
