One Coffee...One Hour...One Big Moment

Just met with an older woman this past week for coffee. She's a real estate mogul in my local area (owns many properties, both residential and commercial) and owns a large property management company. I recently purchased some property off a major road and have a vision I wanted to share with her. Luckily, she was able to make "one hour" for coffee with me "one on one". This lead to "one big moment" for me. I was able to refine my vision. She told me I was special and destined for greatness - which just reinforced my own vision (since I know I'm destined for greatness already).

The thing is...I need funding. She told me that once I refine the vision and hone it in that she will write me "one big check". She said money is not a problem at all. She wants me to come up with a concise mission statement to share with her. She said she already knows it will be great. I asked her how I could pay her back for her time meeting and her future financial support - she just told me that "we'll find a way".

I'm excited to embark on this future development journey. Lots of research has gone on picking the location, refining the opportunity and planning for success. More due diligence to come.

Any words of wisdom or advice?! Thanks for the support!

Be careful she might want to help you edit your mission statement though before she turns over that big check. 😱
