Need to Build a Real Estate Team

Hello, name is Ryan. I am an out-of-state investor, but my wife is from Toledo, so we visit frequently. I am looking for my first BRRRR long term buy and hold. I'm looking for an agent, lender, contractor and property manger who are also investors in the area and know the market well. I'm looking to work with section 8 voucher holders, so that knowledge would be useful from an agent and team members. I'm looking to get started with a duplex or a single family home that I can split or add a bedroom to. Ideally looking for a property that is under market in a good or up and coming neighborhood. Finding an agent who can source off-market deals would be great. If I find the right fit with the team, I could see myself continuing to work with them as I scale and build out my portfolio. Hi Ryan, for your first BRRRR, it's key to build a solid team. Find a real estate agent who knows Toledo well, especially up-and-coming neighborhoods and Section 8 properties. An agent who can find off-market deals is a big plus. Your lender should be familiar with investment property loans and the BRRRR strategy. Choose a contractor who can estimate renovation costs, especially for adding rooms or splitting a property.
