Looking for Investor-Friendly Agent in Atlanta (House Hack Focus)
Hello everyone,
I'm a new real estate investor based in Atlanta and I'm looking to partner with a real estate agent who can help me with my first purchase. My goal is to house hack, ideally, a small multi-family property (duplex, triplex, fourplex) or a single-family home with house-hack potential (basement, ADU, or rentable rooms).
What I’m Looking For:
- Properties priced reasonably for FHA/203k loan financing (willing to do renovations)
- Walkable areas close to MARTA Gold Line (Midtown through Brookhaven preferred)
- Opportunities that will cash flow and/or have forced appreciation potential
What I’d Like from an Agent:
- Someone who can evaluate deals by the numbers (cash flow, rent comps), not just features
- Willingness to send properties with investment analysis (or open to run numbers together)
- Familiarity with off-market deals, wholesalers, or creative financing would be a bonus
- Responsive, hungry, and detail-oriented
I know experienced agents sometimes don’t have the bandwidth for smaller deals on the buy-side, so I’m open to working with a newer or less experienced agent who is willing to put in the hustle. I'm detail oriented and analytical myself, so I don't expect you to do all the heavy lifting.
