Looking for a mentor

Cal Tucker
Posted

Hello everyone!

My name is Cal Tucker, and I am in the beginning phases of my real estate journey. I am currently taking the necessary classes to get my license and am on pace to get it by this summer. At the end of June, I am moving to San Diego from my small hometown to pursue real estate knowledge and expertise in the investing world. I know this may be far-fetched, but if anyone in the San Diego area is an investor, no matter how big or how small, and needs some help with even the littlest of problems, or would be open to letting me tag along with you in any way possible, whether it be as an assistant or anything else, I'd love the opportunity.  I moved down on June 26 and am eager to be surrounded by the space and the world of real estate investing. I'm open to any opportunities, so if you have or know of anything or any tools that may help me to find an opportunity like this, please don't hesitate to reply to this.

Thank you all, and I'm excited to be a part of BiggerPockets.

Well, half of the people I mentor are in California, looking to buy outside of California. They give many reasons, but the reasons fall into the categories of profitability, govt over regulation and landlord / tenant laws.
