Free for a Year — Doortrackr Expense Tracking App

Posted

Doortrackr started as a tool I built for myself. I dreaded going through a year's worth of receipts every April and wanted something on my phone where I could snap a receipt and assign it to a property and job while I was in the Home Depot parking lot.

I didn't want to learn QuickBooks and I didn't need full property management software. I just wanted simple expense tracking built specifically for real estate — and I couldn't find anything that actually did that well.

The Jobs feature ended up being the most important thing I built. Grouping expenses by job (Kitchen Remodel, Plumbing, etc.) lets your accountant easily distinguish CapEx from repairs — and none of the apps I tried had this.

So I built it. It's live on iOS, Android, and web.

I'm looking for 20 landlords to use it — free for a full year. In return, I just want to know what you actually think — what works well, what could be better, what you wish it had.

I'll be selecting 20 landlords who we think would be a great fit, takes two minutes to apply:
