Question for DFW hosts:
Has anyone gotten an HOA fine for trash bins left out past pickup day?
I got hit twice last year. $150 each time. My bin runner no-showed and I didn't find out until the letter came.
That's $300 in fines for a task that takes 5 minutes. And the worst part — I was paying someone $100/month who wasn't even doing the job.
I ended up building my own system to handle it. Photo proof every pickup, GPS verification, automatic backup if someone doesn't show. Basically took the problem off my plate permanently.
