My old account was deactivated, reintroducing myself.

Hello BiggerPockets!

It’s been a long time. I was active here years ago (probably 15+), but my old account was deactivated from inactivity. Excited to be back and reconnect with the community.

I have a legitimate financing question I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction on:

I’m currently looking for SFR new construction lenders or private capital willing to lend on projects located in The Bahamas. We have a pilot project that needs funding, and the plan is to transition into local bank financing once the initial phase is completed.

For groups with larger appetites, we also have multiple larger-scale infrastructure projects in the pipeline and are exploring different parts of the capital stack depending on the investor/lender profile.

If anyone has recommendations, contacts, or experience lending internationally (specifically Bahamas), I’d appreciate the guidance. Happy to connect directly as well. If you’ve done Bahamas lending before, I’d especially appreciate any insight on typical LTV, term structure, and collateral expectations.

Thanks in advance!
