Investors Keep Asking for Speed, then Take 3 Weeks to Send Documents

I work in private lending. Fix and flip, DSCR, that range.

The number one complaint I hear from investors is that financing takes too long. And sometimes that's true — wrong lender, wrong product, slow process.

But a significant chunk of the time, the delay is on the borrower side. Scope of work not ready. Entity docs scattered. Insurance not lined up.

The lenders who can close fast can only do that if you show up prepared.

Curious if others on the borrower side have seen this — or if you've had the opposite experience where you were ready and the lender dragged it out.
