Looking for Ohio Lender Recommendations.
As we’ve continued to grow, we’ve built a great relationship with a local bank that has been an excellent lending partner for us. They understand our business, move with us as opportunities arise, and have consistently been relationship-driven rather than transaction-driven. Another driver of the relationship is that they allow 25-year amortization, which has become necessary to make a lot of deals pencil in this high-interest rate and high-cost environment.
The challenge is that we’re approaching their legal lending limit, so we’re beginning the search for another lending partner that shares a similar philosophy and allows 25-year amortization.
We’re specifically looking for lenders in Ohio or nationwide that can offer:
- 25-year amortization schedules
- Minimal or no prepayment penalties
- A long-term, relationship-based approach to lending
- Experience working with growing real estate investors/operators
We’re not looking for the highest leverage or the most aggressive terms. We’re looking for a lender who wants to understand our business and build a long-term partnership as we continue to grow.
