A lot of new investors assume they need a completed build under their belt before they can get ground up construction financing. That's not always the case.

Some programs are built specifically for first time builders, no prior construction experience required. Financing up to 85% of cost*, up to 70% ARV*, with FICO as low as 660.

What tends to matter more is a solid scope of work, a realistic budget, and a qualified contractor, not your own build history.

Anyone here work through their first ground up deal without prior experience? What made the biggest difference for you? If you're interested to know more, submit here

*Rates, LTV, and program terms are subject to change and vary based on borrower credit profile, property type, and market conditions. Not all applicants or properties will qualify. This is not a commitment to lend.
