Hey BP Community β Introducing Myself π
Name's Benjamin Voorhees, based out of Texas and Oklahoma β right on the border of two of the most active real estate markets in the country. We operate across several states, so wherever you're investing, there's a good chance we can have a real conversation.
I'm the founder of Voorhees Funding Group, where we specialize in private lending solutions for real estate investors. But I'm not here to pitch anyone. I'm here because I genuinely want to connect with people who are in the trenches every day building something real.
A little about my background:
I've spent years working directly with investors who were doing everything right β finding great deals, running solid numbers β but kept hitting walls when it came to capital. Banks moving too slow, conventional lenders not understanding the investor model, deals dying at the finish line. That's what led me to where I am now.
I understand the funding side of this business deeply, and I love talking strategy β whether that's structuring a deal, understanding how to position a portfolio for scale, or just thinking through what financing option actually makes sense for a specific situation.
What I'm looking to get out of BP:
Honestly β relationships. I want to connect with investors at every level, learn what markets people are targeting in 2026, understand what challenges are showing up on the ground, and be a resource where I can.
What I can contribute:
Happy to answer questions around:
- The difference between private and conventional financing for investors
- How to think about capital strategy when scaling a portfolio
- What lenders actually look at when evaluating a deal
- How to stop losing deals to slow funding and start closing with confidence
No agenda β just happy to share what I know and learn from people who know things I don't.
Drop a comment, shoot me a DM, or just say hello. Looking forward to being part of this community. π€
