I Got Attacked Trying to Evict This 300-Pound Guy

Evictions can turn dangerous fast. In this video, I break down one of the craziest situations I’ve dealt with as a landlord—showing up to a property we had just acquired, explaining to the occupant that we were the new owners, and realizing very quickly that this guy was not happy about it. This is the kind of real-world risk investors need to understand when buying rental properties, especially in lower-income Section 8 markets like Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Dayton, and Cincinnati. The cash flow can be incredible, but you need the right acquisition strategy, property management, tenant screening, and eviction process in place.
