Accountant Needed - Cleveland OH
I'm looking for an accountant in the Cleveland, OH area that can help verify that I've setup QuickBooks correctly - and assist with periodic questions.
For instance, right now I am in the process of having a partner Quit Claim his property interest to me in lieu of further investing in the property. He has invested in the property over the past 12 years, and is "walking away" from that investment and transferring his interest to me. I am refinancing to remove him from the mortgage. I'm not sure how to properly handle his equity account/balance. Do I transfer it to me, do I 'zero it out', do i leave it it as-is? Also (obviously) interested in not running afoul of the IRS.
