AM Market commentary:

Global stocks are rising for a fifth day as oils extended a rally on Thursday. UST yields were little changed this AM after rebounding another 5bps during yesterday's session. Wednesday's FOMC minutes revealed Federal Reserve officials acknowledged concerns about China's economy, market gyrations and inflations, but were not yet ready to change their outlook significantly at their January's policy meeting. Initial jobless claims fell to the lowest in three months as the number of applications for unemployment benefits dropped by 7,000 to 262,000 in the week ended Feb.13, according to a report from the Labor Department. Investor spreads were slightly wider across the board, mainly driven by the widening swap spreads. 10-yr swap spreads were up 2bps to -12bps area.
