Auben Realty is currently seeking an Account Manager/Portfolio Analyst who will ensure client portfolios are invested in accordance with stated goals by participating in the development of a strategic investment plan, conducting regular investment reviews and reports, in addition to partnering with other functional areas of the firm to formulate a total investment solution to meet and exceed client expectations in accordance with the Auben standard.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding of new clients with investment assessment and recommendations.
  • Build a thorough understanding of each department's goals, and what they provide to the client to be able to serve as an informed point of contact at any point in the process.
  • Communicate realistic expectations with the client for each department, and work with the client as they transition between departments, ensuring that the expectations are being met.
  • Work with agent to ensure acquisitions match investor criteria and that account is properly diversified.
  • Work with Project management to set budgetary guidelines for renovation.
  • Communicate and work with Property Management to set appropriate leasing timelines and rental rates.
  • Conduct annual investment reviews and reports on high volume of accounts to ensure account objectives are current and appropriate and investments are consistent with objectives.
  • Partner with other functional teams, i.e., Accounting, Sales, Project Management, Property Management, to formulate total investment solutions designed to meet clients’ financial goals.
  • Review all red flags within client accounts and recommend solutions.
  • Communicate with clients in person, phone or email to provide and review portfolio information and recommendations.
  • Analysis of prospective portfolios for acquisition.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the investment landscape
  • Basic theoretical and practical understanding of company investment philosophy
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting platform
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to discreetly handle confidential data
  • Ability to make independent judgments as well as take direction from others
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to organize and express thoughts clearly and concisely
  • Proactive planning and responsiveness to urgent needs
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, serving others with excellence
  • Strong organization skills and systems acumen
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new things quickly with a strong work ethic in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Developed analytical skills and experience with in depth analysis
  • Display of integrity and professional behavior consistent with Company values and mission

Account Managers/Portfolio Analysts maintain frequent communication with clients, and leaders of Sales, Project Management, Accounting and Property Management. Account Managers will report directly to the Senior Account Manager.

A bachelor's degree is desired, preferably in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience in a related professional environment is preferred. Pursuit of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus. Priority will be given to local candidates.
