Lender for Multifamily (2-4 units) in Washington DC

Hi BP,

I  posted this in the wrong forum a few days ago.

Do you know a lender(s) that will  finance a small multifamily (2-4 units) in the Washington DC area? I understand that any lender should be able to do it, if is going to be my primary residence. But after talking with a couple of lenders i realized that is not the case.

The plan is to live in the multifamily as my primary residence,

I understand a google search for brokers in the area can give me some names but I will appreciate if a BP member can give me some extra info,

Thank you for your time.

@Upen Patel is a great lender for investment properties. If you are using an FHA loan, make sure that the rental comps are high enough to qualify for a loan before you ratify a contract and spend $$$ on inspections etc.
