OOS Investing- Houston

A friend of mine in Houston had set me up with a well known agent in the area. I have a few searches set up and have started to narrow in on 2 properties, but have no out of state investing experience. I'd love to connect with anyone who has experience investing out of state and who would be willing to answer a few questions and help me out.

Thanks!

Sean, we are from NY. I actually relocated down here for my partners who own a Private equity fund. Tough market if you don't have anyone local. Contractors are scumbags if you choose the wrong people. - My guys did and I had to throw them off and finish myself. Same for another client I have out of California. - Watch you step here & the market is complex post Harvey - Watch the flood homes - They are a soft market unto themselves. Lot of NEW Construction here. Old homes being torn down left and right - All that being said, its an EXCELLENT market to get into. Has lot of room to grow here. Let me know if you need anything -
