Solid Rock Realty is seeking a motivated Property Manager Assistant to join our growing Real Estate Team in Colorado Springs! We currently managing over 150 residential units and are adding new units at a rapid pace.

As a Property Manager you will be responsible for assisting Landlord and Tenant needs or questions, showing vacant rentals, advertising properties for rent, screening tenants, coordinating with the maintenance department, accounting, and tracking data.

The ideal candidate is passionate about achievement, draws energy from working with people, and takes ownership of the work process to maximize effectiveness. This person has the drive and tenacity to achieve or exceed productivity, goal setting, and revenue targets while providing a high level of customer service.

General Job Description

  • Respond to Landlord and Tenant needs in a timely fashion.
  • Answer questions to prospective Tenants.
  • Have a stern attitude and approach to unreasonable Tenant requests or late payments.
  • Show vacant rental units as necessary.
  • Screen prospective tenants.
  • Complete Landlord and Tenant leases, addendums, and amendments.
  • Basic accounting for properties and Tenants.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department as necessary.
  • Learn and understand the Buildium Property Management Software
  • Other assigned tasks as necessary.

  • Being capable of saying no to unreasonable Tenant requests and enforcing leases in a professional and calm manner.
  • Creates a sense of comfort and familiarity through their ability to build rapport.

  • Results oriented and high achiever.
  • Basic understanding of computers and navigating the Internet.
  • Confident telephone voice.

Key Activities & Duties

  • Track all key business activities.
  • Willing to be held accountable for goals & results.
  • Prioritize tasks without letting low priority tasks slip through the cracks.
  • Respond to clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department as needed.

What We Offer:

Being a small startup company (2016), there will be opportunity for growth and development. Here are the details of what we are offering:

  • Starting Salary: $25,000 Annually
  • Expectation of frequent raises based on performance and company growth. Some employees have received $15,000 in raises in less than 18 months.
  • Hours: M-F 8:30-5:00
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrue 8 hrs/month (Sick or Vacation)
  • Paid Holidays Off: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Birthday.
