Seeking an Experience Mentor
I live in the Chicago area. I have a brokers license and a LLC already set up. I have had my LLc for five years now. I am familiar with the Chicago area as a realtor and broker. Now I would like to become an investor. I am of the opinion that being an investor is a different animal than being a realtor/broker and I would like to learn the areas of financing, wholesaling and fixing and flipping single family and multi-family properties.

@Phillip James - I think the best and most simple way to find a mentor is start expanding your network. Check out the podcast "Build your network". If you go to 1 meet up a week for 6 months straight you will be amazed at what happens. I'd strongly recommend starting at the Chicago Multifamily Club Meet up that is hosted by @John Casmon, @Nicole Valenzuela, @Rj D.. Great info with great people.
I also agree that being a broker and investor are two different animals but if you continue to educate and network you will be ready to make the leap in no time. Best of luck!
