What is your go to side hustle??

Hey team!! I currently work a 9-5, but I am looking to bring in more income. Is there an effective side hustle that has helped you build your real estate investment portfolios.

Currently, have access to a bucket truck for 100$ a day. During the summer, I use that bucket truck to do tree removal. Made enough for closing cost and renovations on my first property.

It's ultimately going to come down to your skill set. Are you looking for a side hustle specific to real estate? Or just something to make extra money to invest in real estate?

I am a coach/trainer so on the side, I coach private lessons and charge a high hourly rate because I consider my time away from family outside of my already full time work to be even more valuable.

My side hustle is buying items from garage sales or thrift sales & rummage sales and reselling online for a profit.

I also work a 9-5, I'm doing sales for a tour company.

My side hustle is not glorious, or for everyone. However, I do Uber for a side hustle. Between that and my day job I work 95-105 hours a week. I get to save a nice chunk of change every month for my first down-payment.

On top of the financial benefit, I get to meet people from all walks of life and professions in my city. I get to see all neighborhoods day and night. I've even met all kinds of local agents, investors, contractors and mortgage brokers. As we all know people love to talk about themselves, so in exchange for my calm, clean ride they're happy to answer my questions I have for them.

I've looked into becoming a loan signing agent but I think investing in RE is ultimately the way to go.

Davin, can you do your 9 - 5 work as a 5 to 9?  If not, do something in the trades if you are handy at all.  People pay big money for summer cleaning.  It's not fun work, but that is why people pay for it, no one wants to do it.  Also, Uber - Delivery is an easy one too.  If you live in the city, can you drive a few hours after work before returning home.
