Find Private Financing

I am currently looking for homes to rehab in the Northern Utah area and I am considering getting a conventional mortgage for the house and hoping to get private financing for the rest. My question: What would be the best way to find private financing?

I know I have to do the footwork to present and justify the deal, but how would I find someone in the first place?
