Smart Passive Income with Pat Flynn - What's Your Take?

Question

One of my favorite Podcasts of all time (aside from the BiggerPockets Podcast of course!) is Pat Flynn's "Smart Passive Income" Podcast.

I was wondering if there is a natural tendency for Real Estate Investors to be drawn to this type of "investing" - investing your time and internet marketing savviness to generate passive income producing assets like web pages, affiliate marketing content, etc.  I think that this is especially appealing to those of us that don't have a lot of money or access to capital that is generally required to get started in Real Estate.

I'm wondering what other BP users think of Pat Flynn.  Who follows both BP and SPI?  I know that personally, I like the idea of using an approach like Pat's to generate cash flow that I can plow back into Real Estate.

I am very familiar with Patt Flynn and LOVE his stuff and have him followed him for some time! Once you learn marketing you can definitely leverage that, in this case Internet marketing.

As you see from following him it's taken some time to get to a sizable income as is the case with any real business. But because we are online anyway it's smart to find other ways to leverage your interests that create. It's basically what they guys have done with BP!It's not only a forum, I am sure they get a TON OF DEALS just running this place plus the different revenue streams attached to ALL this traffic and engagement this site gets - see those ads over there >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> can you IMAGINE how many times they are being clicked through this site!

the way I have gotten a new start in REI is to leverage my (decent) writing ability to help my partner find new investors online. I do a lot of work on various sites, put up a decent website, created a lot of  marketing materials.

I help him find investors, and I take that cash to buy some pretty good REI deals.

I am not familiar with pat flynn though....
