Stock market days like today make me feel blessed to have allocated so much of my family's personal savings in cash flowing real estate.

I normally buy stocks once per month in an index fund when my paycheck comes in. Today, I bought a little bit early, to be covered when it comes in. I feel like days like today are when you dip into the market a little. I try not to speculate too much, but if I can alter my timing by a week or so to perhaps take advantage of extreme pessimism the day of bad news, I will.
