Quickbooks or Freshbooks? Advantages and disadvantages?

Has anyone had any experience with either or both? Which did you like best and for what reasons?

I'm currently looking for a platform to track business expenses for tax purposes.

Thanks for the advice!

@Marshall Martinez ... QuickBooks is trying to move people towards their online version. I've seen quite a few complaints from people who made the change. Look through those carefully to decide if there is an issue that would affect you.

Many tax preparers can read QuickBooks files into their software. I don't know about Freshbooks.

Our teamleader converted from QuickBooks desktop software to a custom online application. If you aren't trying to run a company, the standard double entry accounting method can be overkill.
