Best Investment Vehicle for down payment savings
What is the best investment vehicle for the savings that will eventually be used for a down payment on our first rental property. Currently we have about $5k in a discover savings account earning 2%. Is there a better vehicle for this money while we are saving for a down payment?

Consider putting 30% into an index fund and the rest in your 2% savings account.
