Tenant not paying rent Minnesota

Hi guys I have a single-family brand new build rental in Minnesota with property management in place. The tenant sent it bounced check and now they’re not paying. The property management put these tenants in even with a credit score of only around 500. Unfortunately I had no say I was shocked they would accept these tenants.

They are applying for the rent help Covid relief. I was wondering if anybody has that experience with this program and if landlords are getting paid on time or how long youhave to wait while the case is in pending to be processed

I just got a check from renthelpmn today. From date tenant applied, took 19 days to receive a check that included back rent and 3 months forward rent. I was notified by renthelpmn throughout the process and I did my part and continued to follow up with tenants to keep it moving.
