How to best advertise a student rental

Hi!

I have a new rental coming on the market soon. It is located very close to the local university and we would like to make it a student rental and rent it by the room. What would be the best method of advertising to attract students to the property?

Most schools have a student housing department, they usually make recommendations for students to rent at xyz place. You can see if you can list your property or recommend it to students.

Students will most likely take a look at online resources & go to what they trust the most their school's resources

Another thing to consider is the typical rental cycle period for the students rentals in the area.  For instance, my student rentals are advertised, shown, and leases signed in January, with the leases beginning in May and running through April.

This varies by university. Mine has an "off campus housing list" on the university, and a Facebook group. I've also gotten students through Zillow.

Go on the school website, go to a Starbucks and ask a student. Pretend you're trying to rent a room as a student.

At my school the Facebook group is a home run for me.
