While I'm primarily curious about this for Austin, Texas and this "strategy" will undoubtedly vary city by city, and most likely only be considered for more suburban properties, allow me to wonder:

Have you successfully financed a profitable well on any of your properties, what were the details, the savings and any hurdles you encountered throughout the process?

For those of you that are not familiar- digging a well can effectively eliminate your water bill. It's several thousand up front and usually shouldn't replace drinking water, but can save a lot of money in the long run.
