Rental property DBA or LLC
I Just bought a house recently and there is a small cabin on the property. I am renting the cabin out, and have been thinking about setting up a DBA or a LLC. The mortgage is all one for my house and the cabin. After doing some research I am seeing I would need to check with my lender before taking my name off. But I am unsure of how that would work if my home is also part of the same mortgage? Wondering if it even makes sense to change anything?
