Rent by the Room Occupancy Laws
Hello Everyone!
I'm looking at a potential BRRR property near a university in Waukesha, WI. I'm struggling to find laws regarding how many rooms I could rent out to potential tenants. The house is currently a 3 bedroom but could easily be converted to a 4 or even a 5 bedroom. I would need to rent it out as at least a 4 bedroom to cover all expenses and get a little cashflow.
Any help on where to find laws regarding occupancy would be greatly appreciated!
