Building an ADU in Claremont CA

Hi,

We have a house with a large back yard. We are interested in adding an ADU in the back yard. We have never done this before. Looking for strategy and finding the right company to do this. We were looking at some prefabricated options but not sure if they can last. Also, someone people have mentioned worth looking mobile home for the back yard. Not sure if we can do that in Claremont. Looking for experienced landlord that have added a few ADUs for advice and strategy to go about this.

Good idea to add an ADU in Claremont. I recommend to call the city, to start, so you can confirm your property qualifies and which size ADU you can add. In addition, they may have parking requirements.
