Separating Utilities 6 Unit Property
Looking at a 7 unit property in which the apartments are not individually metered for gas or electric. There are 4 gas meters and 3 electric meters and the landlord pays all utilities. This is a major recurring expense so I am wondering about the cost to install individual meters for all the apartments so tenants can pay their own utilities.
Can anyone offer me a rough estimate on range of prices I would be looking at?
