Child Support

Does anyone have experience owning rental properties and paying child support in CT? Wondering exactly how rental income is counted towards overall income. I know you can deduct reasonable expenses but what about cash reserves kept for expenses at a later date? Also does value of rental properties factor into the calculation?

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. I would like to mention that I am a good father and take care of my child and give her everything they could ever want but I want to minimize the amount of money I give to the MOTHER.

I have joint custody of my kids. Love them to death. I just don't know why I'm paying child support if we both have the same amount of time with them. It should not be called child support it should be called "giving my ex extra money to get her hair and nails done support.
